Dream Drives is the ultimate driving experience in Southern California. Get behind the wheels of a Ferrari race car, Porsche, McLaren or Track Attack racecar for a once in a lifetime experience.
Dream Drives is located at the prestigious Thermal Club racetrack in the sunny Coachella Valley desert. 61980 Tyler St. Thermal, CA 92274
The experience includes 5 laps on The Thermal Club’s North Palm Circuit, covering approximately 6.5 miles in total.
Approximately 1 hour including instruction and driving.
No formal racing experience is necessary to participate. Our instructors will guide you through the experience and ensure you feel comfortable before hitting the track. For safety and vehicle preservation, certain performance vehicles require participants to demonstrate competence with manual (stick-shift) transmissions. Those unable to operate a manual vehicle may be restricted to automatic-transmission cars.
Drivers must be at least 25 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and be a minimum of 59″ (4 ft 11 in) tall.
In the event of foul weather, you’ll have the option to reschedule or receive a refund.
Your safety is our top priority. Dream Drives operates at The Thermal Club, a state-of-the-art facility with a FIA Grade-2 certified racetrack, used by professional motorsports teams, including INDYCAR, for testing and racing.

All experiences are led by highly qualified instructors with extensive backgrounds in motorsports, ranging from IMSA SportsCar Championships to Formula Racing, GT Series, and more. Our instructors are championship-winning drivers with years of professional coaching experience and a proven ability to communicate technical concepts to drivers of all skill levels.

Yes, we will provide mandatory helmets at no additional cost, and all guests receive safety instruction before driving.
Drivers need to wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes, preferably sneakers. Helmets are mandatory and provided free of charge. Sandals and high-heels are not allowed for drivers.

Yes! For groups of 10 or more, we may be able to open a date that is not currently offered. If you’re interested in organizing a group event, please contact Dream Drives at dreamdrives@thethermalclub.com or call (760) 674-0088.
Friends and family are welcome to attend the event. While children are permitted, we advise against bringing those under 24 months of age due to safety considerations. Please be advised that pets are not allowed; however, service animals are permitted in accordance with applicable regulations.
They are not included, but available upon request for an additional cost.
Snacks and limited food options are available for purchase.
One of the three tracks at The Thermal Club will be used for your experience. Track selection is based on scheduling and event needs. Below are the details of each track:
SOUTH PALM
This 2-mile track features three long straights, giving drivers the opportunity to take their vehicles to the limit. The high-speed nature of this track also teaches drivers the most important aspect of setting a fast lap time: proper braking.
NORTH PALM
The 1.4-mile North Palm track features a sweeping carousel corner along with elevation changes. Combining the North and South Palm circuits creates an intermediate track, while pairing the North Palm and Desert circuits creates a fast track that is technically demanding.
DESERT
The 1.7-mile layout of the Desert circuit incorporates connected cambered corners that mimic driving a mountain road, along with low and high speed sections similar to famous street circuits around the world
